MARK YEW – CEO & Co-CIO
Mark is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Myer Gold. He has been managing discretionary portfolios for over 19 years and handheld his clients through two of the worst bear markets with flying colours. Today, Myer Gold is still managing assets of his very first client.
Mark sits on the Investment Committee and acts as the Chief Risk Manager at Myer Gold. In addition, he advises clients on family charter, trust and estate, liability management, real estate and philanthropy as well.
Prior to founding Myer Gold in 2011, Mark joined Goldman Sachs in 2000. Mark was co-head of a team that managed the largest discretionary mandates in Goldman Sachs Asia. During his career at Goldman, he established himself as the trusted adviser to several ultra-high net worth families in Indonesia.
Mark earned his MBA from the Darden School of Business in University of Virginia. When not in the office, Mark is likely perfecting his passion in golf, tennis or the violin.
CHUA TECK WEE – Managing Director & Co-CIO
Teck Wee is the Co-Chief Investment Officer of Myer Gold. He has over 17 years of financial experience across both investment management and investment banking, and brings along unique insights from both buyside and sellside perspectives in the financial markets.
Prior to joining Myer Gold, Teck Wee was an Executive Director with Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management where he spent more than 8 years managing discretionary and advisory investment portfolios for private clients. Teck Wee was part of the team which managed one of the largest portfolio of assets under supervision in Goldman Sachs Singapore.
Teck Wee also spent 8 years with J.P. Morgan Private Bank and J.P. Morgan Investment Banking. He successfully transitioned from private banking to investment banking and was responsible for the coverage of investment banking activities for Singapore clients. As an Executive Director, Teck Wee worked with a broad range of corporates and high net worth families, advising them on their initial public offerings, capital raising requirements as well as mergers and acquisitions assignments.
Teck Wee graduated from the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy. He is a CFA Charterholder and a CAIA Charterholder. Teck Wee is a School Advisory Committee member with Henry Park Primary School and enjoys golf and running.
JENNY FOK - Executive Director & Wealth Management Advisor
Jenny joined Myer Gold as a Wealth Management Advisor at Myer Gold in 2016. Prior to assuming this role, Jenny led a team of Financial Investment Professionals in Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management Singapore.
Jenny spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs in investment advisory roles, covering ultra-high net worth individuals and families in Hong Kong, Indonesia and Singapore. She joined Goldman as an analyst in 2005 in New York and worked in the Hong Kong office before permanently relocating to Singapore. Jenny graduated with Honours from New York University with a Bachelors of Arts, majoring in Communications with minor concentration in Economics.
Jenny was a concert pianist during her years in New York. Away from the business, she enjoys skiing, travelling and spending time with her children.
